What Is The Difference Between Each BackMax?
Our BackMax bed wedge system is offered in two different sizes, 20” or 28” widths. Both are exactly the same aside from the width of the cushions. However, even petite framed customers prefer the larger size BackMax as there is more room for their arms to rest comfortably on the side of their bodies versus the standard (20”) width. The Deluxe 28 model, now comes with a plush, lightweight, white fleece removable cover.

shoulder surgery
I needed to sleep up right with a sling on for 4-6 weeks (rotator cuff surgery). So the hunt was on for something, perhaps in my bed. Then I came across the body cushion. Perfect! However, I purchased the large size because the small didn't seem wide enough. Glad I did. I needed to have a 2 inch foam running the length of "bed" because where the zipper attaches at the base of the spine, I was on the floor, so support is needed there. I use my own pillow for my head and half roll pillow that comes with "bed" under my sling for support. I'm comfortable throughout the night. I should add I'm a small person at 5'3", 115lbs. This 'bed' works because of the support of the wedge and its angle plus the elevation of legs to take pressure off back. I'm happy with this and my kids look forward to using this to lounge on.

Works better than I hoped
I am severely overweight and, even though I got the 28 inch pillow, I was skeptical that any device could help the back and hip pain I get while sleeping. So while I was in enough pain to try a new solution, I fully researched the return policy and assumed I would definitely be using it. I am happy to say I will NOT be returning this product. From night 1, I have had zero hip or back pain upon waking. I use a CPAP and I would will still wake up at night to shift my body due to pain. I sleep much longer now that I don't need to do that! I recommend this product with all 5 stars.
