My husband bought this for me when I became pregnant. I wanted to sleep elevated because I did not want to have acid reflux and sleeping on my side was getting uncomfortable. When my feet started to swell in the last months, the elevation of my feet controlled the swelling. Everyone kept asking me if my back hurt at all and because of this product, I NEVER had an back problems. My OB-GYN is now recommending this product to all her patients. This is a MUST HAVE for any pregnant woman.

I didn't know what to do about my back problem.I had not been sleeping in my bed for over five years. The neck pain often became excruciating. It finally dawned on me to search the internet and I found Contour Livings Backmax.Best thing I could have done.I had to return it only to EXCHANGE for Backmax plus. Firm and comfortable. Thank you Comfort Living!!!!

I think the one main downfall is it is too narrow for someone who is more than 130 lbs.
Customer Service Response:
We do offer two different widths for the BackMax. You may want to maybe exchange up for the Deluxe model BackMax, as that will offer more room for your arms.

I have spent the last 3 years of my life in pain. Iv seen both physiotherapists and osteotherapists, and still had continued to live with the pain, that was until I found the Contour BackMax. After 4 nights, I am now waking up without any pain. This has been a complete lifesaver, Thank you Contour!

Well made, but back support is ver hard and doesn't provide the right support for me. I've tried using pillows, but that doesn't work too well

I got this for my husband who has been very ill. He is supposed to sleep at a 30% incline. He found the leg support too confining. When I unzipped the leg support, he found the headrest too high and put a lot of pressure on his bottom. This system is now setting in our extra room! Not a good purchase. The return policy makes it impossible to return.
Customer Service Response: I am sorry the product did not work out for your husband. However we do have smaller wedges, like the folding wedge that is available in 7,10 and 12 inch heights. And we do have an extended return policy for even open items.

I bought the Back Max and Body Wedge Cushions. It was so hard I could not sleep on it. I had to unzip and only can use the Back Wedge to sit up with. Needs more neck support.

I purchased the standard set and It has certainly been worth the $149.00 so far. I am not a large person, 5'4", 120lbs so the standard set works fine for me but I could see how someone larger would want to opt for the big size. It is a bit awkward on the bed due to sharing covers with the hubby and I felt really tall next to him. I'm using it on the floor which I was already sleeping on due to the back issues leading me to seek the set out in the first place. I have never been able to sleep on my back until I purchased this very comfortable little body wedge. I'm very happy with my purchase and would certainly recommend this product. May order a couple of them for kiddos to lounge on in front of the TV.:)

I now own two sets because I NEVER want to be without them. One set is just for back up. So happy I found these. I have back issues and fibromyalgia. They give a very firm support which I need. But if that is not your preference you may not like them. As far as arm support, I use pain rollers to prop my arms on since I need to keep them handy anyway. Also inflatable sports balls work as arm rests when I prefer softer support for my arms. I prefer the narrow size because I constantly have to tailor the cushions to what I need and they are easy to maneuver. If I heard that this company were going out of business, I would probably buy ten sets. That's how much I like them.
