Feedback from a CPAPMax Pillow customer: "I bought the pillow for my husband. Since he has been using it he has been sleeping much more comfortably which has made his CPAP use much greater. So his health is better. And since he is sleeping better so am I. I recommended this to anyone who is a CPAP user."...7/9/13
The comfort kit contains a CPAPMax pillow, custom pillow case, canister of CPAP wipes and a 6' CPAP Hose Cover. Great for new CPAP users or as a gift. Plus, you'll save 10% - bundled price is normally $100!
While the original Contour CPAP Pillow has been incredibly successful in addressing mask interference issues, our goal with the CPAPmax Pillow was to create a pillow for sleep apnea patients that not only performs better, but is also more comfortable than most traditional pillows. The pillow's dual sided design features fiber on one side and memory foam on the other, which appeals to a broad spectrum of consumer preferences. One challenge that we faced in utilizing these popular materials was insuring that proper support and stability was maintained so that the integrity of the pillow's CPAP mask pockets stayed intact.
We were able to stabilize the memory foam and fiber material by inserting a center layer of high resiliency foam to provide form, support, and relief from comfort issues. Additionally, heat build-up, often an issue with CPAP patients who use humidified air, was resolved with a unique perforation process that ventilates all the way through the pillow. This combined with a 3-D mesh cover that keeps the user suspended above the ventilated foam, allows air to circulate and humidity and moisture to dissipate.
The result is a pillow designed specifically for CPAP therapy users, but comfortable enough for anyone to enjoy.

I have been having neck issues, so thought I would get my head in proper alignment and try this pillow. My pain has not completely gone away, but, after a week, I do NOT want to give up this pillow!! It is comfortable and gives support to your whole head!!

I couldn't believe how good I slept the first night with my new pillow. It's just what I needed for my CPAP.

I have been fighting with pillows for a year. I could kick myself for not getting this pillow months ago.
By the second night I was comfortable with the CPAP pillow. I have been sleeping better then ever since. Thanks!!

I just got your great Cpap pillow. I asked about one at Bed, Bath, Beyond last Sunday and ordered it online. It arrived at my door on Friday. I love it I go right to sleep and it is very comfortable. Seems very well designed and superior to anything I have seen elsewhere. I am looking to buy pillow covers and so glad to see you have them available. I will get back to you on that. Well done!

I have much less trouble keeping the mask from leaking

I like everything about the pillow. Its design works great for a cpap, allowing the mask to drop into the "scoop" in the sides. Also like the ability to reduce/increase the thickness by removing/adding the foam insert.

This pillow is great for sleeping with my CPAP. I find it so comfortable I use it as my "regular" pillow when I'm not "tethered"! I removed the inner foam and sleep on the microfiber side and do not find it hard at all. I have not noticed any odor.

this is not what I hoped for
It's very firm..too firm, having no 'give' to provide comfort
Plus, ti is all a right angle form...therefore, there is no taper/slope to allow the neck to be relaxed/supported.

The design is ok but the pillow is small so when I turn I am falling off.

Unfortunately, form does not follow function in the CPAPMax pillow. In a quest for sleep better with the CPAP I was willing to try the CPAPMax which as advertised as the "next generation" pillow. Kept my fingers crossed and made the purchase. It is better than a traditional pillow (which is no surprise). I've gone back to using the (Japanese) organic buckwheat pillow. Return/restocking fees and postage are high.
Customer Service Response: We are sorry that the CPAPMax pillow did not work out for you as expected, although it is our most popular model CPAP Pillow, we know that not every product is going to suit every person to a T, although we wish it would.
As part of our return policy, as most do not even have because they are personal items and can not be resold, we do charge a 20% disposal fee on the item. Shipping does very depending on location and which carrier you opted to use, seeing as though the item is under 2lbs, from what we have seen its under $10 to mail.
