The 2am pillow rebuild

You Are Not Sleeping Badly. You Are Sleeping On The Wrong Shape.

Here is the routine. One pillow under your head. A second hugged to your chest so your top arm has somewhere to go. A third jammed between your knees so your hips stop twisting. By 2am all three have moved, your shoulder is taking your full body weight, and you are awake rebuilding the pile.

Flat pillows are not the problem. Stacking is. Three loose pillows cannot hold a line from your head to your ankles, because nothing connects them. The Swan is one continuous piece, so the support does not come apart when you move.

Split-screen loop, 5 seconds

How the shape works

Seven Support Zones, One Piece Of Foam

The Swan is not a tube with a bend in it. It is tapered along its length so that each part of your body meets a different height. That is what lets one pillow do the job of the pile.

1Head
Cradled in the comfort curve so your neck is not propped at an angle.
2Neck
Held in line with your spine instead of bent toward the mattress.
3Shoulder
The contour takes weight off the shoulder you are lying on.
4Back
A continuous surface behind you, so you are not free-falling backward.
5Hips
The top leg is stopped from dropping across, which is what twists the pelvis.
6Knees
Separated and cushioned without a fourth pillow that slides out.
7Ankles
Supported at the taper, so the whole leg is level rather than angled down.

01

Your shoulder stops carrying you

When you sleep on your side, your shoulder takes the load of your whole upper body against a flat mattress. The Swan's contour gives that shoulder somewhere to go, so the weight spreads across your ribs and upper arm instead of pinching into one joint. This is the single most repeated line in our reviews.

Your shoulder stops carrying you
Your hips stay square

02

Your hips stay square

Most side-sleeping discomfort starts at the hips. Your top leg drops forward across your body, your pelvis rotates, and your lower back spends the night twisted. The Swan's lower taper catches that top leg and holds it in line, so your hips stay stacked instead of rolling.

03

Your head is cradled, not propped

The comfort curve at the top of the Swan holds your head at the height your neck already wants, rather than pushing it up like a folded pillow does. Roll onto your back in the night and the curve catches you there too, which is why combination sleepers get on with it.

Your head is cradled, not propped

I can sleep on my side with no pain in my shoulder.
I love this Swan Contour Body pillow. I was tossing and turning and messing with two pillows. This keeps me from crunching my left shoulder and when I roll to my back, it is a nice comfortable roll. I did not expect it to be this great.

Great pillow
This is the second swan pillow I've bought, I liked the first one so much I got a second one to have in my camper. I'm a side sleeper and really like that it wraps around my neck for comfort, yet I can also sleep on my back and be supported, it helps me get a better night's rest.

Very comfortable and relieved pressure
I like the size and ease of use. Besides being good for sleeping, I use it as a backrest when watching tv. I use it everyday to relax when sleeping.

Questions People Ask Before They Buy

Is the Swan only for side sleepers?
No. The Swan is shaped so that side, back and combination sleepers all get support. Side sleepers get the shoulder cut-out and the leg separation. Back sleepers get the head cradle and a stable roll-over surface. One of our most repeated review lines is that people did not expect it to work as well on their back as it does on their side.
How is this different from a regular body pillow?
A regular body pillow is a straight tube. It supports your arms and legs but leaves your head, neck and hips on their own, so you end up stacking a second pillow under your head and a third between your knees. The Swan is tapered and contoured, so head, neck, shoulder, back, hip, knee and ankle support come from one piece.
Will it take over the whole bed?
It is a full body pillow, so it is large. It is also shaped rather than straight, which means it tucks along one side of your body instead of lying across the middle of the mattress. Most couples find it takes up less room than the two or three pillows it replaces.
Can I wash it?
The pillow itself should be spot cleaned. The Contour Swan Pillowcase Protector is a zippered cotton-blend cover that slips over the pillow and goes in the wash, which is why we bundle it at a discount.
What if I do not like it?
You have 45 nights to decide. If the Swan is not for you, send it back for a refund. The pillow also carries a full 1-year warranty.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping is free on every order over $49, and every bundle on this page clears that. Orders ship from our Charlotte, North Carolina warehouse.
