deluxe-set-freedom-combo.png

The Freedom Seat’s wedge shape restores your lumbar curve and comforts spinal discs, while its coccyx relief cutout minimizes pressure build-up in the tailbone area. The cushion’s unique, cradling edge design positions your hips for better posture. Shallow surface dimples combine with a breathable cover to enhance softness and allow better air ventilation. This cushion is made of highly resilient material to distribute your body’s weight more evenly, minimizing pressure points. Its anatomic shape and contoured surface comfortably fit you anywhere you go. It’s great for home use and also with wheelchairs, in the car, or on the plane.

  • Coccyx Relief Cutout - The "Zero Pressure Tailbone Cutout" for coccyx area, minimizes direct contact between the sensitive tailbone are and the seat cushion surface. This reduces uncomfortable stress and pressure which can build-up during prolonged seating.
  • Highly Resilient Material - High-Density foam provides better support and even distribution of your body's weight, reducing uncomfortable pressure points around the pelvic bone.
  • Cradling Edge Design - Graduated edge of seat cushion positions hips for better alignment and posture.
  • Contoured Surface - Curved front design avoids pressure on lower thigh.
  • Anatomic Shape - Anatomic shape contours to fit the curves of your lower body for a comfortable seat - anywhere you go.

  1. OK, but not the best 3 Star Review

    (Submitted on 16th Jan 2016)

Given it's advertising and price, I was hoping for a better performing product than it is. I already have a cushion that I purchased elsewhere, and it works much better than the "Freedom Seat Cushion." The cushion is helpful, so I will keep it, but I was disappointed in it and only use it as a back-up to my main seat cushion.

  2. Comfort 3 Star Review

    (Submitted on 2nd Apr 2015)

I'm not crazy about this cushion. It is hard to find the sweet spot for comfort. I was hoping for more relief on the tail bone with the V shape in the cushion. It is possible that I haven't used in long enough.

  3. Excellent relief for tail bone fracture 5 Star Review

    (Submitted on 24th Mar 2015)

Fractured my tail bone and ordered the cushion designed for this problem and it is great---I take it with me to my car, office, restaurants, etc and it has provided great relief.

  4. Helps My hip 4 Star Review

    (Submitted on 17th Mar 2015)

Cushion helps relieve hip pain on long car rides for me.

  5. Adds some comfort and support 5 Star Review

    (Submitted on 1st Feb 2015)

The Freedom seat cushion does help to seat you properly and in turn is comfortable for your lower back. I purchased the packaged deal with the Freedom back cushion as well. They are good by themselves but dont work well together in a car as its just simply too much cushion and sits you up way to high and way to close and thats with the seat all the way back and all the way down. And im 5'8 165 lbs. So I cant imagine the combo usable together for anyone. So the seat cushion is in the car and the Freedom back cushion on a computer chair, both work great that way.

  6. SOOO Helpful! 5 Star Review

    (Submitted on 23rd Jan 2015)

So my problem is a bit different than most of the reviewers - I developed a problem driving for any length of time in the back of my legs.....from the back of my knees and half-way up my thigh. Driving was so painful. So when I got this product, at first it didn't seem like it was going to help me - but then I turned it over. LOL It lifts my behind up so that there is almost zero pressure on the backs of my legs. So I am extremely grateful for this product.

  7. It did help 4 Star Review

    (Submitted on 23rd Nov 2014)

I have the comfort pad. I drive truck. It did help with the pain I get at about 4hours in the seat. The thing you have to get use to is the push the center does to you to make you sit correctly. It can be uncomfortable and take time to get use to.

  8. Excellent Product! 5 Star Review

    (Submitted on 14th Oct 2014)

This is the best seat cushion I've ever used, it provides just the right support for my tailbone and is very light and portable. I have used it every day since I got it! I previously bought a much more expensive cushion that I ended up giving away--I will recommend this one to anyone who needs some seating support. I now look forward to traveling again!

  9. Great Support 5 Star Review

    (Submitted on 30th Sep 2014)

I have had problems with my legs as I get older. My chair was in great shape yet the seat seemed to cut off circulation more than being of comfort. The freedom seat solved this and offers both support and comfort, plus help me maintain proper posture. Highly recommend.

  10. like sitting on bedrock 1 Star Review

    (Submitted on 23rd Jul 2014)

What a waste of money. This cushion provides NO pain relief if the pain is in the tailbone area. In fact, it adds pressure because of the hardness of the cushion. The little cutout is good for nothing as you'd have to sit right on top of that without moving and who could do that. To make matters worse, the company provides no discounted return shipping, so shipping for the cushion (I ordered 2) is going to cost me $8 a piece. I am obviously not a happy customer and will not order from this company again.

  11. love it! 5 Star Review

    (Submitted on 18th Jul 2014)

I drive a fork lift 10 hours a day. This cushion and back support are just what I wanted. Thx

  12. great product 4 Star Review

    (Submitted on 30th Apr 2014)

the cushion was great quality however, it did not work for my needs.

  13. Good Support 5 Star Review

    (Submitted on 20th Feb 2014)

Sat for four hours straight, helps me with posture and weight distribution as I have a tendency to lean to one side. This is the first time in a long time I've sat that long without having to taking my pain Rx. I am 5'8'' 160 lbs. so if you are a person of a larger size this might not work for you.

  14. comfortable 4 Star Review

    (Submitted on 17th Feb 2014)

It is very comfortable. My issue is a L5/S1 disc rupture. The core is foam. I wonder if the center was a denser foam if it would last longer. The cover is a thin synthetic material. It would never survive a washing machine. It would be nice if the strap was adjustable.

  15. Center sticks up my #&^%$ 1 Star Review

    (Submitted on 5th Feb 2014)

I cannot believe any one can sit on this seat pad. I tried it out over 5 days and each day was as bad as the first. I kept trying to like it, because I bought it, but each time I stood up and threw the seat pad off my office chair and sat on the office chair without the pad. I will never use it. Anyone want a unused seat pad?

  16. Contour Seat Pad 4 Star Review

    (Submitted on 30th Jan 2014)

It has taken a couple of days to get used to the pad. I have arthritic hips. I use it at my office and I switch the pad off and on all day. It's working! I am much more comfortable in my office chair. I'll be purchasing another pad for home.

  17. Not Comfortable 2 Star Review

    (Submitted on 29th Jan 2014)

Previously had same product from different source but smooshed after extended use. This one is more firm but actually a bit too firm so do not find comfortable. Would like something in between for tailbone relief but not so hard on the remainder of the posterior!

  18. Better than expected 5 Star Review

    (Submitted on 23rd Jan 2014)

My daughter has an earlier version of your seat cushion so I thought I'd give the Freedom Seat a try. It is even better than I thought it would be. It makes my uncomfortable old living room chair better than it ever was. It is amazing that something so simple can make such a difference.

  19. Finally! 5 Star Review

    (Submitted on 18th Dec 2013)

The front seat in my pickup truck is problematic for my lower back. Wedge cushions completely alleviate the problem. But distressingly soon these become a problem. The cushions are typically so spongy that repeated use smooshes them so close to flat that they become useless.
The Contour product is firm. It holds its shape and thickness. It is not smoosh-able. I knew it would work as soon as I touched it. Over the years I have cumulatively paid way more for inferior cushions than I did for this one fine product. I think it just may be my last cushion purchase. I am very pleased. And very impressed. Relief that lasts. Finally!

  20. Purchased for car travel 4 Star Review

    (Submitted on 16th Jul 2013)

I purchased this seat cushion for tail bone pain when traveling in the car. It fits my bucket seats in my crossover SUV fine and is comfortable. I haven't noticed much difference in the pain but the construction, quality and price of this product is very good. I don't think the product is the problem. :)
