Contour BACK MAX® Offers Affordable Versatility & Comfort
Portable Wedge System Easily Zips into Eight Ergonomic Positions
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- Contour Living™, a leader in the ergonomic support and comfort industry, has introduced the Contour BACK MAX®, a three-piece wedge system offering eight configurations for total body alignment and comfort. The Contour BACK MAX offers the most complete full body support available.
“Since its release last year, the Contour BACK MAX has sold well and received very positive response at both the ’05 and ’06 Chicago International Housewares Shows,” says Scott Davis, founder and president of Contour Living.“The BACK MAX is bound to be an industry favorite because of its unique features, versatility and rich design, which set it apart from other wedge systems on the market.Plus, it’s affordably priced so everyone can enjoy it.”
The Contour BACK MAX features a hinge system that easily unzips to use the wedges separately or in different configurations. This zippered system allows adjustability and keeps the wedges from slipping out of position. The photo above shows the “zero gravity” position, the most relaxed state for the body.
In the zero gravity position, the legs elevate to the heart level easing circulation, reducing swelling and relaxing lower back muscles. This position uses all three wedges zipped together.Users can unzip the wedges and rearrange them to create the healthy and supportive positions seen below.
The first photo (above left) shows the Contour BACK MAX in the seated upright position, which supports the natural curve of the spine. It’s great for reading, working or watching TV.The next photo(above right) demonstrates someone using the BACK MAX to relax on her stomach without back strain.
The third photo shows mid-range head elevation.Doctors recommend this position to patients suffering from gastrointestinal disorders such as acid reflux, hietal hernia or indigestion.Additionally, it helps to alleviate nasal congestion and snoring.
The Contour BACK MAX also supports the vulnerable lower back in a variety of ways. Its versatility is endless and can be used while doing exercises such as sit-ups, leg raises and leg lifts.Contour Living designed the multipurpose BACK MAX to offer consumers the most complete full body support available.
