It is actually one of the most comfortable products I've ever had. I did have problems with customer support. The Back Max Countour Pillows zip together and my zipper broke right after I got it. It makes it harder to use the pillows correctly as the pillows slip away from each other and don't provide the proper support. I tried to get customer support to replace the middle and bottom cushions and I was ignored. I called and emailed several times. That was a year ago and I have used them a lot without the zipper. After a year of constant use the pillows tend to use their shape so they don't support as well as when you first had it. I think they should test the pillows really well because there is no doubt they are comfortable and I loved mine but unlike the other users who use them after surgery I am really disabled and need support in the bed for my spine. Despite my complain I am ordering a new set because they are really comfortable. Maybe you just have to replace yearly.

This is reviewed several times at http://www.tuckthattummy.com/forum/forum.php and is very useful for recovering from tummy tuck surgery. Lot's of girls have bought it and absolutely raved about it. Had to try it myself!

I have had my BackMax for over a year and I absolutely love it. I use it every day. It fits perfectly on my couch. I work from home as a writer and I am able to work on my laptop (I have it on an AirDesk) while I recline with leg and calf support. (position 4) - I have had 2 major spinal surgeries and this is the most comfortable position for me when I am writing, watching TV, etc - it takes the pressure of my spine and tailbone, and helps to relieve sciatic pain. I love it - The covers come off and wash nicely in the washer and dryer. I highly recommend this product!! MaryAnn H. Pittsburgh, PA
