For resting on a couch it's nice, but it really needs to be wider for anyone who is a restless sleeper, like maybe 36" wide, or I'd really love a full size one for my bed.

My husband bought this for me as a gift. I'm pregnant and have bad heartburn/acid reflux and cannot sleep flat. This is sooooooo comfortable and places me in a much more comfortable position to sleep to prevent heartburn.

I recently bought the Blackmax for both CPAP and reflux issues. Great for reading and watching TV but needs a pair of pillows up each side to rest my arms on. It would be nice to have a pair of 6" wide pillows on each side that zip via cloth over the main part to keep them close to the main part. In short, the Blackmax is simply much too narrow for me.

This is a big help for my low back issues. I use it in the evenings when I watch TV in bed--I just put it on top of the mattress. Adding a pillow behind my head makes it more comfortable to see the TV. If you are a really wide person, you might have trouble fitting on it. I know this is lazy, but a cupholder would have been nice!

I agree that the product should be wider. That being said, however, I suffer from both sleep disorders and sleep apnea and if I hadn't stumbled across the "Backmax" from a Canadian supplier I would not have had a decent sleep in years. It is completely impossible for me to sleep in a bed and the "Backmax" even travels with me.....I sleep like a baby on it. No more pain in my hips and back and I wake up refreshed and pain free.

I have to sleep on sitting position as recommended by my Doctor due to severe reaction to GERD (ACID REFLUX), since 2 months ago. I purchased this bed and it works like a charm, together with the 7" SLEEP BETTER BED WEDGE PILLOW -also purchased at Amazon. I set the bed backrest over the wedge pillow and i got the perfect high for my decent sleep. I'm 5'5", 125 pounds, and i fit well in the bed, even that my feet are a little bit over the edge. I purchased EXTRA LARGE Twin Sheet Set to cover the bed. I like firm mattress, so, i like the firmness of the bed, that other customers reviews are not happy about that. I think this bed is size limited and that is not fair, because it should be an option for everybody. Worth the money.

I have slept in a recliner for 2 yrs due to a back injury. I thought this would simulate the positioning for my bed. The upper body portion is (was) too high for sleeping for me. I removed 5" of it and now it works great!! They should offer different heights and also wider.

Pros: (1) I am 6 months pregnant and have problems sleeping on my back as well as on my sides. The Contour Backmax Support System allows me to sleep for longer periods of time on my back while keeping my chest and legs elevated allowing for adequate circulation. (2) It is light and portable; the support system can easily be moved from room to room. Cons: (1) The Contour Backmax Support System is not wide enough to comfortably relax your arms. I have to use two bed pillows on the sides of the back support system to accommodate my arms. (2) The back support system is more comfortable when used on the floor rather than on the bed.
