Unique multi-position wedge cushions for full body support. Position on bed, on the floor, on the couch, almost anywhere! The system includes 3 different wedges that can be zippered together for full body support, or detached for use separately. The Inflatable BackMax is a multi-functional support system that allows users to use all 3 wedges as one, or as separate cushions for targeted support. Use the cushions together for full body support, or separately as a backrest, knee wedge or foot support. Each cushion inflates to your own custom level of support with the included air pump, and deflates just as easily. Once deflated, each cushion is compact and the perfect size for travel.
The Inflatable BackMax Cushion Set offers all the key benefits of our foam cushion BackMax Body Wedges, but comes in a compact size perfect for storage and travel.
The Inflatable BackMax is a 3 piece wedge system which can be used to lay you down in the 0* gravity position which helps aid circulation, but also can be arranged and zippered apart for various support positions. Whether you like to relax in bed laying down or stomach support while you read or just to elevate your legs, the Inflatable BackMax has the position for you.
Whether you are relaxing, exercising, reading, or sleeping, the Inflatable BackMax offers support for your pain points from your back, legs or feet.
When laying on your stomach, the Contour Inflatable BackMax relieves strain and tension on the lower back by allowing the spine to maintain its natural curve and back muscles are able to relax.
By elevating your legs, it's been noted that it helps aid circulation. Great for those suffering from edema or other forms of swelling.
The foot rest is another great way to elevate your legs and feet which helps improve support for any swollen feet.
When using the Inflatable BackMax's’ backrest in the upright position, it offers ultimate support for reading, watching TV, eating, nursing, plus much more.
As many doctors have noted that many patients suffer at least once a month from gastrointestinal problems. The Inflatable BackMax allows sufferers to rest and relax more comfortably by gently elevating them as opposed to someone laying flat.
If you opt for full body support, and use all 3 wedges and lay in the standard position, you are then placing your body in the 120 degree angle position. Many refer to this position as the “zero-stress” or “zero-gravity” position. This positions helps relieve tension and lower back strain allowing the muscles and ligaments to relax.
NASA Astronauts are seated in the same zero-gravity position during liftoff to help minimize the pressure on their body.

On previous vacations I had to book a room that had a recliner, as I cannot lie flat in bed. I sleep in an adjustable bed at home. I ordered a set of wedges for a recent trip and they were wonderful. They are small enough to pack in a suitcase and I slept as well as If I were in my own bed. I would suggest ordering the 26" width, which allowed me to relax without fear of toppling off during the night (I am a hefty 250 lbs). This purchase greatly exceeded my expectations and I recommend this product highly.

It aggravates the very shoulder I expected it to relieve.
there is no give to it and is it shifts too easily on the bed.
what do I have to do to return it and get a refund as your literature promised?

I have slept in a recliner for 7 years after injuring my back. I purchased this because I will be traveling out of the country with no recliner available. I had the top portion fully inflated and the other two parts partially inflated. It worked great and for two night I slept in a bed with this system on top.

As it turns out, I will use two pieces of the BackMax, the upper body and the other end under my legs. I am 6'3" and it is too short. I can not use it zipped together, but the two pieces I will use will be easily carried when traveling, but the travel bag you provided must have been an after-thought as there is no way to get even two pieces in much less the pump too. I hope you will consider making one for tall people.

This is lots better than sleeping in the chair, which is where I was before I received this product. Very comfortable. Relieves all the pressure points and my swollen ankles are gone.

I have had the Backmax inflatable wedge set for approximately 3 months. After 1 month, the lower pillow began a slow leak. Ny the third month both the lower and upper sections leak and are no longer useable throughout the night. The leaks formed along the seams, so patching them is not an option. I just ordered my second system, because I do love the design; it fits my needs perfectly. Hopefully, this second system will hold up longer than 2 months. I'll share the outcome here later.

I sleep in an adjustable bed at home but have had lots of issues traveling, having purchased many inflatables or solid cushion wedges to try to mimic my adjustable bed, some have worked for a while, some not at all. I just bought this and used it for 6 nights while on vacation. It best mimics my bed and is very sturdy. It's not slippery like many of the other inflatables which helps to keep sheets in place. I slept great. It was a bit high on top of one the beds but I managed. If the bed had been any higher, I would have just moved the mattress off and put it directly on the box spring but I know that isn't always practical. And it was very easy to inflate and deflate which is another problem on some others that I've purchased. I would highly recommend it.

My wife and I travel a lot, and we both have difficulty lying flat on a bed. In the past, we have used suitcases and couch pillows to prop up the mattress of the bed we had to sleep on. Your inflatable wedges will solve this problem nicely. We tried them out and they are perfect for our needs.

The only reason that I give this a 4 out of 5 stars is that I am having trouble keeping to top section inflated. All the other sections stay aired up perfectly. I am sure I have missed something that will keep it aired up but until I get that figured out - The top section deflates while I am sleeping. I also have the foam wedge and I love it as well although over time the foam becomes flattened and isn't the same height or position as before.
Customer Service Response:
I would double check the cap connection on the BackMax and make sure it is tightly sealed. If it is still giving you a problem, give us a call and we can initiate a replacement for you.
