After trying to sleep on a stack of pillows for a year or so to alleviate reflux, I decided to spend the money on something more effective - which this pillow most certainly is. I purchased the 12" tall wedge. If your bottom is on the mattress surface, your head will most likely not be at the top of the wedge, so take that into account. 12" seems like a lot but the actual height is less than that, unless you're extremely tall.

I like the fabric, it's well made and it's doing the job of improving my sleep

I have been able to sleep IN MY BED for first time in over a year. I have been sleeping in my recliner for over a year because of back problems. I can not lay flat. With the wedge I can now get a good nights sleep.
I only which I had thought to go online and search and find the "Bed Wedge".

Bought two, one for my GERD and one for wife's Apnea and sinus problem. We have just had them for two nights but I am opti2404mistic. Can see where it will take some time to adjust but feel positive about the result they will produce.

I suffered a pulled muscle in my shoulder and experience muscle spasms in my shoulders and arms. I've initially thought this could help me find a comfortable position for sleeping. I have the 7" bed wedge which provides adequate elevation, it is longer and supports my hips and entire back. I found the wedge to be hard and not as comfortable. The wedge is not wide enough for my arms. My arms dangled which is not ideal sleeping position for me

Better than the stacked pillows that I was trying to make do but can anybody tell me how to prevent sliding down the wedge during the night. I wake up several times to find myself at the bottom of my 7" high wedge. Also, can I really fit the velour cover back on easily if I take it off to wash it? Thank you.
Customer Service Response:
Because we are so used to sleeping flat, the reason why you find yourself slipping down, is our body is unconsciously trying to get us flat through the night. Typically there is an adjusting period to get used to sleeping elevated.
As far as the cover is concerned, yes you can take the velour cover off, but getting it back on is a bit trickier. You can simply put a flat shit over the wedge while laying on it to help maintain its cleanliness.
